About:
Born in the 1950s in Harlem, New York, raised in Brooklyn,
is a former Christian. Imam Khalid Yasin begun his ministry as the leader of Jammat Ita'hadul Iqwaon Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn.
He quickly rose to fame in the Brooklyn Imam Network of
the late 1980's, and was featured in several magazines,
Shaykh Khalid Yasin has spent the majority of his life travelling
through out the world delivering lectures on the various issues and aspects of Islam.
He has studied the Arabic language in Madina, Saudi Arabia and
                                                                                     Cairo,Egypt and has had many mentors and teachers who tutored
                                                                                     him in Fiqh us-Sunnah,Fiqh us-Seerah, Islamic History and the
                                                                                     memorisation and recitation of the Holy Qur'an.
                                                                                     In the past ten years, his organisation Islamic Teaching Institute
                                                                                     (ITI)has delivered more than 5000 persons to Islam.
